I only buy the large wrenches when needed. So far I have no need for most large wrenches just a couple.


Hydraulic guys were using a 150mm socket on a cylinder today. Also found out that our hydraulic bench, the one I mentioned previously and is photo'd here (http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=20537), the torque multiplier used for removing those large nuts off the rods has a max torque of 80,000 ft. lbs. Guess the guys have had to use it up to about 40,000ft lbs.I'm soon going to be buying my 3/4 sockets up to 80mm.![]()
