I had a request a couple of years ago to make a couple of bike racks for a bicycle fest we were hosting at the pub.
We'd recently gotten a large piece of equipment that came in a very large wood crate, and I had some salvaged keg stems and valves, so....
I'd made a rack a decade or so back, but it was crude and gettin' a little long in the tooth.

All the measurements were correct, so I copied those instead of figuring it all out again.
The keg stems and valves (no metal was worked in this project):

We replace those every few years and the value is basically scrap, so we had plenty.
I'm making two of the racks, so gonna go all production on it:

I screwed all the horizontal pieces together, cut to length, then used a couple of block to mark them all at once. Once marked, I drilled though the top two 2X and into the 4X with a long 1/8" bit.
Then the 2Xs get through-bored with a 2" Forstner:

and the 4X gets 1" deep X 3/4" bores:

Repeat.
Parts for the first one, ready for sanding:

Since the wood is salvage, I arranged the pieces to conceal most of the damage--where possible.
Now for paint--six sides--can't do that post-assembly (and it matches the trim on our building):

Finished!

It was so hot that day, the rear tire of the bike sank into the concrete.
