my garage has a 12x26 bonus room above and I had to get behind the wall recently and discovered the blown in insulation covering the roof of the garage doesn't have a vapor barrier. The walls have kraft face bats.
I've had the AC unit off and checked and the garage is 65 - 70% humidity could this lack of barrier be the reason it is high or is it just because it is closed up and no air running?
If the lack of a barrier is the problem should I try to remove the insulation and get a barier under it? or would just getting a dehumidifier work?
Help I'm lost
