Looks pretty cool but is the finish a completely smooth surface? It looks to have some irregularities in it. Especially in the reflections of the lights.

Looks awesome! Is the marble effect an install technique or just how the resin is designed?

This pic was taken while it was still settling and leveling out. It is flat when cured but these systems sometimes do create little micro bubbles. All seamless systems are flawed by nature. These floors are done in an uncontrolled environment but they add to the character. The last floor I did had a 4 foot streak of what I call a fly's death march.

We do our designer epoxies a few different ways. It's all installer or hand designed and applied.

Scott, forward me leads and I'll represent you well. We work with Miracote, Duraflex, Garon, Duraamen and Elitecrete in the same way. We respect all manufacturer leads.

Here is another pic

No thinners at all, just color combining and hand troweling. We like to seal with polyaspartic

Looks like you are walking on the ocean surface.
I'm expecting to see dolphins swimming underneath.

Typically, below 2000 sqft, standard prep without excessive cracks and or moisture related issues $10 per sqft. If we have to self level and or have excessive prep, $12 on up.

We price our jobs on a case by case basis. Current condition of the slab, proposed system, accessibility of the job, how many men needed and how many days determine my price. We've done $4 per sqft stain and seal jobs to $40 per sqft custom designed one off jobs. Our flooring designs are, limitless so its very difficult to just have a standard price.

That was the idea, the clients pool is right outside and he wanted the look of the Caribbean ocean. I think we succeeded

Was this floor done using EC products or another one of your products?

I ask because I currently use EC epoxy products and like them a lot but always looking for other products to try out and better myself.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

To Legacy: No, this is a pure resin floor.

To Cabby89: EC's system is the same. The difference in look is how one applies it. There are different application techniques that can give you different looks, depths and textures. I use EC amongst others, sometimes use multiple manufacturers for one project. If it's spec'd by the manufacturer, I honor their job and use only their materials.

$20,000 to $24,000 for a 2,000sqft slab?

Yes, depending on the amount of work needed. You have to remember that we install hand crafted floors to the owners specifications, ie. color, texture and shine. This is something that you cannot buy off a shelf and glue down. It's completely custom and unique to every owner. It is not a paint job. We have done jobs as inexpensive as $4 per sqft to $40 per Sqft. It all depends on the current condition of the slab, system chosen, accessibility and timing.

In some case we can save the client alot of money. For example, next week we start to resurface a 4000 sqft liquor store. Their floor has a 2 foot high sub floor that they thought had to demo'd and then pour 2 feet of concrete to bring it back to level. I came in and showed them how we can use the existing wood sub floor by self leveling it with polymer modified concrete. This project will cost him $15 per sqft. We saved him a fortune and he will now get a custom floor that he can be proud of and that can help bring his business to the next level.

Some people don't mind paying for quality and workmanship and those are the clients we cater to.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Legacy, pm me any info, your contact info and we can get it done. Looking forward

We love quality but 99% can't spend that much on a floor coating. It takes a good salesman to show people they should spend tens of thousands of dollars on a floor coating.

Your NSX is my all-time favorite.

When you are passionate and confident in your abilities, you can sell anything.

Again, if looking at it as a floor coating or paint job then it's hard to justify. If approaching it as a hand crafted flooring system and alternative to the mundane tile or wood floor, then some people see the value in that.

I make my living in this business selling flooring projects in excess of $100K on a regular basis. Some folks HAVE to spend that much in order to remain compliant, IE: Food Processing, Pharma, Chem Plants, etc...

Some just want the best.

We utilize a few different installers as is common to our industry. We have one in eastern PA, we have one that also installs for Stonhard in NJ. They also work for other companies and therefore may have scheduling conflicts from time to time.

We are always looking for talented installers and Garage Guy has proved his abilities to me.
