$20,000 to $24,000 for a 2,000sqft slab?
Yes, depending on the amount of work needed. You have to remember that we install hand crafted floors to the owners specifications, ie. color, texture and shine. This is something that you cannot buy off a shelf and glue down. It's completely custom and unique to every owner. It is not a paint job. We have done jobs as inexpensive as $4 per sqft to $40 per Sqft. It all depends on the current condition of the slab, system chosen, accessibility and timing.
In some case we can save the client alot of money. For example, next week we start to resurface a 4000 sqft liquor store. Their floor has a 2 foot high sub floor that they thought had to demo'd and then pour 2 feet of concrete to bring it back to level. I came in and showed them how we can use the existing wood sub floor by self leveling it with polymer modified concrete. This project will cost him $15 per sqft. We saved him a fortune and he will now get a custom floor that he can be proud of and that can help bring his business to the next level.
Some people don't mind paying for quality and workmanship and those are the clients we cater to.
Thanks for the compliments guys.
