This must be the company that he is leasing from and having do his account billing and collections? I assume he's not going to personally mess with monthly bills, maybe part of the lease also includes collections and then they pay him rather than the other way around.
I have no idea to be honest haha. I'm kind of over trying to figure it all out. It's all out of my yard so it's really not a concern of mine. The prices also don't line up with what he told me so it's more expensive than what I have now which works just fine.

My Redbone coonhound has taken it upon herself to rid the yard of moles. While the holes are annoying to accidentally step in in the dark and almost break your ankle, ask me how I know, it's at least stopping all the squishy tunnels everywhere. She has gotten where she can track them in the ground, dig a small hole and pull them out.
That is awesome!
I had a plot hound mix many years ago when I lived outside Charleston, SC....one day I was working in the garage and heard this squeeeeeeek, then thud.....couldn't figure it out for a while b/c Lucy (dog) was just kinda roaming around, then finally caught her, she would see it moving through the yard, stop on its trail, dig it out and basically "play" with it, tossing it/flipping it up in the air, and it would eventually die.
Good dog, good dog!!

I used to have pure bred Plott Hounds.
Hank and Merle.
When they were on it, man what a howl!! They would keep up with coyotes, like on their heels. I was always curious but never really wanted to find out for their safety what would happen 2 vs 1 if they actually tackled one. I have a scar on my left hand from these dogs "playing"!

They would get in the animal field and one would get left behind trying to get a chicken or something and the other couple were like abort abort fu*k Steve he's on his own
. I had a Catahoula before the Plotts and the temperament was very different. The Catahoula was a good dog, but not a great dog with little kids. The Plotts were I'm not kidding you gentle giants. They would have killed my kids with kisses haha.
Doesn't surprise me at all, the plott that i have now is a complete couch potato (I did find her on the side of the road up in the mtns), in summer/winter, only outside when necessary
, fall/spring, she will "sunbath" on the back porch, but only when acceptable temperaturesSwanny1953

Sorry the lake place deal blew up on you, but sounds like you made the right decision. You’ll find the right place, just takes some perseverance. We’ve had ours for 27 years, so the kids grew up on it and we have tons of great memories! Not a moments regret. Now we get to enjoy our grand kids and our kids friends’ kids growing up on the lake every big holiday weekend!!

Lake Cypress Springs in E. TX. About 1-1/2 hours from the house. In the NW corner of the Texas Piney Woods - relatively small lake (3.600 acres) with fully treed shoreline. I call it "God's Country" - just so relaxing!

The lake we frequent here locally in IN is about 3,200 acres. Then in comparison if we were to go to Dale Hollow (KY/TN) border that is 27,000 acres!
We have a 1,500 acre reservoir about 15 minutes away that we also go to. We go back and forth between those two. The 3,200 acre one is about 50 minutes away. It's nice because it is in a state park so the entire shoreline is all trees, there are no houses to be seen, not one. It's very peaceful.

The girls have joined me in the shop and with a little instruction are now self sufficient on the scroll saw and pin nailer. They are doll furniture making machines now!

While our lake is really beautiful, pretty much the entire shoreline is developed and sea walled. So, after about 9AM on most weekends, especially holidays, it’s a giant bathtub!! Still, wouldn’t trade it!!

That's still awesome. That's how the lake was that I grew up on. My grandma just this year sold their lake house (they were full timers) that they have had since the mid 80's. They had 5 acres, so a massive chunk of shoreline. As others parceled off and sold out over the years they never did. Wish I could have bought that place since I grew up there, but it was a million dollar lake house, literally. Little over my pay grade at the current moment with 4 kids under 9

So this is kind of crazy to me. We have fairly strict screen time rules and only allow so much TV. We don't really have any other "devices". No ipads, kids don't have phones or smart watches or all the other stuff other kids have so I feel like our kids absorb better if that makes sense somehow. The first time they ever touched a sewing machine in their lives was yesterday at 5pm with Great Grandma. They went to bed at 8pm. We woke up and went to church and got home at 10am. So really in all fairness it's been 3ish hours last night and less than 3 hours today. My 7 year old has already made and stuffed 2 pillows. 
. If I had a horn, I think this would be one of those times I'd actually toot it. I'm really impressed with these kids sometimes.

Super proud of my oldest! She got selected and made it into the All-Star game in her soccer league. 26 girls (two teams of 13) out of probably over 100 girls in the league. Great game! The girls played their hearts out, lots of hustle, super aggressive play. Game ended in a 2-2 tie! So all the All-star girls went full send!!

New project.
When we moved I promised all my kids their own rooms. So when I was looking for a house it either needed to be a 5 bedroom or at least a way of making it one. So the new project is finally partitioning the basement to add an extra bedroom #5. This will be my second daughter's new room. I'll also be adding a closet for her.
