I don't like bose.. I have a sony hi-fi system and its pretty good and rather inexpensive.
Wife bought a new Ipod and bose sound dock yesterday. Radio works great with Ipod only but she wants to play radio over the Bose dock. Is he missing something? Thanks!
Unsure what model it is at the moment... She does not think there is a tuner on it although the Ipod she bought does play radio...
Tune-In App will get you most radio stations around the world.

No one cares, the OP is not asking for your opinion. Bose is some of the best sounding equipment in the world. Sony is mediocre at best.
Uh huh, I hear that all the time, and it's usually from somebody that wants to sell you something else, or from people that want to justify their mistakes. I invite anybody to listen to my home theatre. AM7s and two sets of AM3s. Have yet to find anybody that says it's NOT the best sounding HT they've ever heard. I cannot for the life of me find ANY speakers that equal Bose that are the same size at the same price point. My Boston Accoustics system in my family room sounds like **** comparably, though it was rather high-rated, but at the price I got it for, it's passable, though if I want to seriously enjoy a movie, I'll be in the theatre. Only thing missing from my Bose system is the booming lows that my old huge Cerwin Vega system used to produce with it's SW-12B. That's it, and I don't really miss it. In fact the powered sub of the BA in the family room is turned way down. Too much bass is way overrated. Everything else is as crisp and clean sounding as the CVs, maybe even a bit better-all with a huge space saving, which is important to some. Cranked up, the Bose system will shake the house to it's foundation, but I'm not a kid interested in losing the rest of my hearing like those idiots in 10KW cars. Don't know about Bose's latest ventures, but their old Accoustimass systems were pretty much unbeatable, that even from an old friend of mine who swears by them also, and his previous system was a set of Ohm Fs, considered by many to be the best speaker ever made.Hey guys....to each there own and by all means buy whatever you like. But saying Bose is one of the best brands out there is a rather large stretch. I own an audio video sales and install company and hear and install a lot of brands all year long. In my business the general opinion when it comes to BOSE is Better Off With Something Else. They spend the largest part of there budget on marketing and as a result a lot of people think they are great, in reality you can purchase the actual woofers used in there cube speakers for less than 5 bucks on parts express. But again to each there own.

Nope, Monster cables are overpriced AND overrated, for ME that is.i take it you also hook everything up with monster cables too![]()

Think about it if they were that good then why aren't they THX certified, all they have to do is send a speaker to them for testing. Heck klipsch pc speakers are cheap and are THX certified?
AFAIK, THX certification is not free, and there is a royalty to use the "THX" cert logo. On the other hand, THX Cert does not mean the speaker is better---only that it met some arbitrary quality criteria.
