After getting frustrated being unable to fit my ratchet into some tight spots I decided it was time to break down and pick up some ratcheting wrenches. I'm a DIY guy who already has more tools than he needs already so I was looking to spend as little as possible.

After looking at everything from Matco (HOLY **** THOSE PRICES) to Harbor Freight (WTF THOSE COLORS) I finally opted to get a set of Tektons. Aside from the price the determining factor was that I've read about their fantastic customer service. If one breaks it won't be as convenient as going to Home Despot, but I know they'll make it right.

Anyway, boring story, but I wanted to support a company that really strives to have really good customer relations and it's obvious they're working hard to develop good tools at budget pricing. And they're based in the US, which doesn't hurt. :)

Which ones did you get?

The 2104. It's been discontinued, so was selling for less than half the cost of the current set at Amazon (I paid $20 for seven wrenches): TEKTON 2104 Ratcheting Combination Wrench Set, Metric, 7-Piece [Older Model] https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002PXDJ4Y/?tag=atomicindus08-20

I'm holding off on the SAE set for now. These are sort of a "luxury" item for me, as I've never bought a set of wrenches before (always been able to get by using sockets or pliers).

I'm really digging the "wrn" series.

I've been selling lots of Tekton lately everything from hammers to combo wrench sets and a lot in between. Especially nice are the breaker bars, drilling hammers, wire strippers, and the new red contoured grips on the slip and groove joint pliers. Plus the large 16" groove joint pliers are USA sourced.

You'll love them. With their 2nd to none customer service and extremely fair price, I'd say they're the best you can get.

I can say first hand their warranty is easy and very fast.
