I bought it off a chap that took it in part payment for work on a Sunbeam Tiger. I have another two boxes that I'm sorting, these I've had since the 70s, they have been attacked by an intruder that broke in to steel tools etc.Snap-on tools are plentiful but very expencive, beyond me now I'm retired, so I lookout for second hand gear. Halfords store I'm told sell tools made by the manufactures of Snap-on, a lot cheaper and guaranteed for life.
Had a good day sanding and wire brushing, so should get some Rustolium on in the morning. Wood stove has kept the cold at bay in my man cave. Gave the old avatar a run round the block getting it ready for spring.
Got a couple of coats of green Rustoleum on dried very well in my cave.I'll make a softwood top for between the top and top box, cause the top is very dimpled
My other one is going to take a lot longer, it has a bit more damage and chrome handles to sort out. It helps to be retired indeed, got other jobs to do in the meantime. Gardening!it being springtime over here to get to grips with.
