Except if you actually read more of his post than the title you see that he specifies combo, and also that Stahlwile is easily as much for either metric or sae as he wants to spend for both.

both sets could be had around 350
While over budget the quality to cost is unbeatable.
I never found a taiwan combo wrench that any real good when the going gets tough and I quite keen on taiwan tools .
Taiwan ratchet wrench rings fair well, they seem do powdered metel well but when broaching a ring wrench it bit hit and miss, open end are pretty lame across the board, toptul half decent and taiwan facom turned out great and they both use same forging foundry !
Buying cheaper wrenches never seemed that worthwhile in the long term picture and the price difference between top quality and average is minimal when buying into it as a set .
poor wrenches are nothing but wasted time knuckles and fittings damage and never worth the saving .
I'm not one over spend when not needed or buy truck for love of the brand, plenty good cheap tools that equal or better some top tier brands but not so much with wrenches .
