Brake Caliper Hanging Hooks

what happened to using a metal coat hanger and bending to the size/shape you want?

Because mommy said " No wire hangers"!

Im not a professional, but I always used old metal cat hanger wire or the strong old school solid rubber bungee cords.

Seems it would be awkward to hang a caliper with something like that. I mean you'd still need a hook of some kind to go through the handle and then around a framing member or A arm.

Am I the only one that uses them to hang lawn chairs from the rafters when not being used for calipers?
