Weekend wrench and part time DIY home improvement specialist. Craftsman provides reasonable quality and what I mean by reasonable is a place to exchange some socket or ratchet that has broken when I need it most.

For the most part the truck brands are very expensive for most people. In my tool hunts the tools that I see the most are craftsman hand tools.

In fixing things I like to use a mixture of everything.

Despite the hate on this forum, the majority of my tools are Mac most of which I purchased over 7 years ago. Most of my newer stuff is Snap On which I would say is the second most dominate brand in my boxes. Followed by a mixture of Matco, Craftsman, and too many other brands to list.

Wrenches are 3 sets GearWrench, 1 set Craftsman Pro, 1 set Matco, 2 sets Allen, 1 set Armstrong, and a couple S-K
Ratchets are Armstrong
Screwdrivers are Wiha and Wera
Pliers are all over the place but mainly Irwin, Channellock, Crescent, and 2 Knipex I picked up today.

I try and buy as much US stuff as I can and the best I can find at a reasonable price.

Most of it is Mastercraft (Canadian Tire) so I voted Asian. Sockets and wrenchs mainly.

I also have quite a few tools from Gray Canada (not in your list), Snap-On Canada, S-K, TopTul, Proto and Challenger.

And very few by Craftsman and Matco.

The core of my tool stash, about 40%, is vintage Crafty. But I've got tools from most major brands including GearWrench, SO, MAC, Proto, SK, Allen, Matco, NAPA, Channellock, Witte, Wiha, Wera, Hazet, and numerous vintage brands that are now obsolete.

I don't buy much in the way of new tools anymore. I like old school tools with some age and wear on 'em. I also like restoring old tools and tool boxes and putting them back to work.

At home:
45-50% Snap-on
30% Craftsman
20% Other (PowrKraft, SK, Wizard, Wright, Mac, Cornwell, Channelock, Klien, and various other obsolete brands).

I not a professional but in my personal box, its mostly Craftsman and Craftsman Professional, but Snap-on is a close second.

I'd say mostly Craftsman tools have turned almost every bolt on my TT vette. They are great tools and work for me.

The majority is Snap-on with the second most common being SK. The rest is a mix of Matco, older Mac, Cornwell and Craftsman. Like most everyone here, there are also the odd Knipex, Channel Lock, Bondhaus and the like for certain tools.

Of my work stuff, I probably have more S-O/Bluepoint or stuff that 'could' be S-O or Bluepoint than anything else. There is no other high-end tool dealers here. Craftsman is my close second (yes, I use their raised panel wrenches professionally, the haters can hate).

Its a mixed bag for me, Gedore, Beta, Ampro, Gearwrench, Matco, Hazet, Snap-On and Facom for me but German at the core with Gedore.

Koken Socket sets and screwdrivers, Aigo spanners 6-32mm. Oh, and some (very) old Gedore offset wrenches, 8-41mm.

But then US stuff isn't available here- stuff here (Sidcrome, Kincrome, Teng, King Tony, JBL, Fuller) is taiwanese/ Chinese otherwise, and I'm not having any of it! Well, apart from Teng screwdrivers- they're pretty good... so it's the Japper stuff for me methinks!

I do have a few US kits... Wiss cutters, blue point ratchet wrenches... no wait, taiwanese again! lol

DIY'er. In terms of quantity USAG takes top honour closely followed by Snap-on and Gedore. A few steps back we have MAC, Craftsman and Knipex. Then there's a mixed bag of various US and Euro brands.

Old-school Craftsman would be tops but not by much. I have a fair share of Cornwell, Armstrong with some Matco, Bonney Williams and a several Snap-on & SK drive tools.
