Erm........... it's err been a while!
Lots of life stuff has happened. Retired from the police in 2016 and two weeks later started my current role as Head of Security at a location in the Square Mile (City of London financial district).

The E36 320i Touring was replaced in 2016 with a E61 530d Touring which I still have.
The E36 318is was replaced in 2017 (I think) with a mint 36k mile from new 1969 Singer Vogue which was itself replaced this year with a mint 44k mile from new 1976 Datsun 260Z.
The Sunbeam Imp Sport is away with a friend waiting for a full body restoration.
I bought a 1968 Singer Chamois Sport in (I think) 2018. I sold the 1972 Hillman Imp Deluxe I'd had in storage for about 14 years to a friend in early 2020. The 1967 Singer Vogue was sold a couple of months ago. So, in the garage we now have the Chamois and the Z with a space for the Imp when it returns.

After Photobucket screwed over their customers a few years ago all my previous pics have gone.
I'll see if I can post some pics in a bit.

Garage had become cluttered but is now looking better after all the Vogues and associated spares have gone.

I now have a trailer for the Imps which lives in the back garden. Going to instal shelves in the lockup to get everything off the ground which should mean I can just squeeze the trailer in there and free up the space in the garden for car washing etc.

After 8 or 9 years the felt roof starting leaking so a couple of months back my brother and I put box profile steel roofing on which was so easy to do and quick. Worked out cheaper than replacing the felt too.

Some photos below:
The Z, the Chamois, Chamois on trailer behind my motorhome (no more trailer tent!), some shots of the garage before the Vogue etc were sold. More space now.

Garage roof nearly finished and then garage roof actually finished. The ridge is the same colour as the rest of the roof but is reflecting that rare orange ball in the sky.

Wow, welcome back, I saw the name and forgot I even followed this thread, but see I commented a decent amount. 5 years does make a few brain cells forget a bit. Looking forward to what you have going on and posts to come.

Thanks guys. Not too much to tell over and above my previous posts. Life sort of got in the way, as it does. One career ends, a new one begins. Bought some cars, sold some cars. Yadda yadda yadda!

Currently recovering from a back injury so won't be doing much car or garage-wise for a while.

Still here! Not much to report though. Bought a mig welder so will have a play with that at some point. Restored a couple of old bench vices and some trolley jacks.

Still nothing much to report. I'll probably get on with more in the garage once the weather closes in and being outside is less pleasant.
News on the Sunbeam Imp Sport: Dropped it off to be dipped, stripped and primered last week. Should be ready early September. Then need to drag it back up to Scotland for bodywork and paint plus a few other bits and bobs - including conversion to BMW power.
