Hello,
Today while tightening the latch post on a car door, I turned a $2 husky security T45 socket bit from HD into a corkscrew. Granted, it's a 3/8 drive and I was using a 15" ratchet to tighten the post sufficiently, but I wasn't putting all my weight on it or anything...
I'm looking at a set like the SK 84213. Probably will land with non-security style bit since I've never encountered a security Torx that I can recall. Hopefully the solid shank helps with strength as well.
Anyone twisted off an SK Torx (within reason)? Any reviews appreciated.
Thanks,
