Brush on gutter sealant?

Is there such a thing as a good brush-on gutter sealant? My current project has aluminum gutters that drip at every joint and I’m hoping there is a decent sealant which is thinner than caulk that I could quickly/easily brush onto the joints. I’m not averse to caulking if really necessary but find it a PITA and it seems like a better idea to have sealant flow into the joint rather than just sit on an edge.

I don't know what it's called or where to get it, but around here the gutter installation companies use something that is silver and flows somewhat. I believe it comes in tubes. After application it runs a bit and smooths itself out. After it dries it's smooth and stuff doesn't stick to it.

I suggest contacting one of those folks to see if they'll sell you a couple of tubes.

That's what I used, silvery, stickiest substance known to man. I got it from an Allied Building Materials roofing & siding yard. It does not flow, quite viscous, but not a drip has been seen from the joints in ~5 years.

Might be Geocel Instant Gutter Seal. One of the colors it's available in is silver. I used the silver color in 1993 when I installed my gutters. Seems to be working well. It's self-leveling and appears to flow into the seams.

Call Geocel and ask them if they have a gutter sealant that you can apply with a brush.

I always use this. It sorta flows a bit as it dries to really get in there. FlashMate is incredible. Comes in a tube or a can. I use tubes.

Go to a RV dealer. As for Dicor used for sealing RV roofs. Killer stuff. Clean your gutters well first.

I used to be in the gutter business. I exclusively used Geocel calk. I would not even think about anything else.

Henry's elastomeric coatings. Used on RV roofs, shipping containers etc. Get the gutters clean and slop it in, work it into the joints with the brush and give it a few smoothing brushes.
