I know very little about race cars and boats

My moto is I only make them look good I don't make em go

So this year I am forcing myself out to the work shop and letting the party barn
stay clean and enjoy it in the evenings when friends come by for a visit after the loft is completed

It still needs one wall of fence to complete it, and the beam covered in oak along with the small area to the right of the bar and maybe a wet sink and some shelves in that area.
Then carpet and more pinball machines and THEN its out to the garage

Oh ya and the green house needs finished

i plan on doing a room upstairs og our shop in old barn boards this winter for my wifes area , i belive old chesnut will make a nice room for her sewing shop

A lot of thoughts, passion and attention to details has been put into it and I am in awe of how much work you have put in. I always thought that building an old vintage gas station or an old facade inside a huge hangar would be great and you have definitely mastered that as well. This is the first day of 2013 and I can say that you have already inspired me to "get to it" and move forward with my dreams. I had a great time reading all 31 pages of your thread !!! Today I spent the day cleaning up and dusting the man cave after finishing up the last wall in fence wood yesterday. I also found a little time to rehang a few signs, and started working on the lights over the shuffleboard.

yes I post only about once a week because it takes me that long to show any progress.
I will be happy to get the last few projects done in the loft.
One more wall behind the bar in oak along with the beam and stub wall then carpet, and maybe a wet sink in the corner behind the bar
What ever it must be done before the super bowl.

Back to the party garage
I'm almost finished with the game room.
I managed to get the wet sink in along with
adding more metal to the ceiling.
I also managed to trim out the loading doors, and cover the beam with oak paneling.
I removed the temp light fixtures
and added some track lights

The bowling machine is out being repaired.

One of the guys that showed up to the christmas party
has been repairing these type machines for the last 30 years
and pleaded with me to fix both the bowling mach. and the shuffle board
so I kindly consented lol

Today I worked on and in the Texaco gas station.

Looking back thru the thread I found the last picture posted of the station and thought it might be interesting to do a then and now shot.

Today I pulled everything out of the station and layed down some black and white tiles (like race deck) I finished the badges for the alemite work bench
I pulled the two motors out and replaced them with a sun machine and an alemite lubster and installed the two green light fixtures out front

Don -- I've been following this place since you started posting and it just gets better everytime I stop in. Congrats on putting this incredible space together...I bet that's going to be some superbowl party!! I really like the Texaco station. With a place like yours, picking a favorite spot would be difficult, but the indoor Texaco would have to get my vote.

To me it seems to take a while to get things done but thats because I only go 90% on a project then I get hot on another one, after I have 4 or 5 uncompleted projects I go back and finish them all. Then start the process over again (Drives my wife nuts)
