The box is pretty sweet you have done a good job. It is always nice to be able to make some things for yourself. I rarely get to, most things I make are customers' and they of course want them when I get done.
As for the comments about building them to sell and be better and cheaper than the tool trucks, I'd say it will be harder than they think to be competitive. If you figure in the cost of using the equipment and all of the other overhead from warehousing material and finished product and having them ready to go with a high quality finish and slides etc, oh, and options, got to have different options... There is a reason why they cost alot. Not saying they can't be less, but a good quality piece of equipment just flat out costs more than we'd like to admit to make it. As a side gig, it would be fine, but if a person has to feed a family from the product then they need to charge enough to make a profit or it is not going to last very long.
Speaking of finish, I didn't see where you mentioned what you plan to do for that. Do you want to paint it or powdercoat or something else?
