So i am taking baby steps to build my garage. I am close to having all the cash to get the concrete and shell done. I wont take a loan or refinance. I will have to drive my POS a little longer.
I just received the site plans and will submit them soon to the city.
I am having trouble either visualizing or accepting the fencing setup for my dogs.
In the drawing i added, bold red is existing 8ft privacy fence. Thin red is what i think i will have to do to enclose the yard.
Bold dark blue are windows and light blue is the man-door from the existing 9x25 single garage.
I am thinking i may move the mandoor to the rear of the existing garage to make the entry to the yard easier.
Also not sure if the garage mandoor should go on front or side.
Thoughts, opinions,concerns are all welcome.
The garage will be a 24x24 with 9ft walls.
***EDIT: the Bold red at the front of the drawing will have to be taken out. I don't have room for a swing gate and I am not the type of person that likes to get of the car and open and close a fence gate manually.
So it will have to be moved to a better location to enclose a doggy area.
