Everything looks great. Inside and outside.
A little bit of advice.....when the weather breaks and things are dry, make sure you caulk the header trim on the top. If not, the water will run in behind by the grooves in the siding and will end up rotting things out. Another thing I'd also do when you have a free day is mix up some concrete and fill the holes in the top of the foundation blocks. It'll make it look better plus you won't drop anything in there. If that foundation goes down into the dirt, male sure you use a termite treatment. In my area they use a termite block which is basically a solid top block. It keeps termites from building tunnerls and reaching the bottom plate.
And the red cabinets look fantastic. I like the uppers with the glass in them.
Coming out awesome.
Why did you paint the sides of all the base cabinets if you just put them next to each other?![]()
over this deal, but very very nice....
but did you spray or roll them? The reason I ask is that the doors look really smooth and I can see the reflection in them of stuff you have in the garage.
EXIGED.......what did you paint them with? I know it was paintbut did you spray or roll them? The reason I ask is that the doors look really smooth and I can see the reflection in them of stuff you have in the garage.
The were painted with Rustoleum Safety Red enamel from a gallon can, buy at Home Depot or Tractor Supply, thin a little with paint thinner, those were rolled and brushed in various different areas. Two coats, goes on pretty wet then flattens out as it dries... Mine came out pretty smooth when we did them a while back...

Simply AWESOME look from the upper and lower cabinets in red!!
That's $15K result on a $1K investment . . . . EXCELLENT !!
You're setting the standard awful high . . . now ONLY cars allowed in the garage will be bright red, yellow, or orange!! No routine gray allowed!!
Keep the pics and updates coming . . . . Love It!!
Exiged or Darkk......is there any orange peel at all in them or did the paint completely flow out?
Orange peel.. You could wet sand them and buff them but I think that is way overboard for garage cabinets... Even these!
Guys my back wall isn't perfectly straight (old garage) so the edge off cabinets are 25.5 to 26.25" deep from the front to the back wall. My question is... How much overhand should I do on the counter tops for the front? What dimension should I cut them at? This is 2.5" thick bowling alley lane so I am going to have the guy cut it for me before pickup.
Where are you getting the bowling lane stuff from? Is it here in CT?
PM me with the answer please if you don't want to post it.

You deserve extra points for stuffing those pieces into the vehicle; is that a 'Soccer Mom's'
van? If so, I'm not sure whether to award those extra points or ask you to turn in your 'Man Card'. lol
I've heard that only the first 10-15 feet (?) of bowling alleys are hardwoods like maple, and the remainder is comprised of softer woods. Any idea what species yours are? In any event, those are going to look fantastic on your cabinets. Your total cabinet investment is now what? When you are done with the install, you're going to want to position a lawn lounge out in the garage, sit back with a cold one (or two), and just gloat, gloat, gloat! Such a steal of a deal; you done good!![]()
I have these extra pieces any suggestions on what to make out of them? They are about 13" wide and 8' long each.

Btw the wood is nailed and glued together but it had a back that is used to hold it all together.. It appears to loosen up once the back is removed so I will probably core 3 holes across it and use a threaded rod to hold it all together.
Thoughts?
