A small portion of the flat, rolled roof over my porch had been notched out by the previous owner since a tree was very close to it. Long story short, I had the tree cut down and have framed the fascia out and now need to add roofing and drip edge above it. I received quotes that were $6-800. Which is quite a bit more than I expected.
I have roofed small sheds and such before but have never done anything with rolled roofing. It seems like it “should” be fairly straight forward to do myself and at the end of the day I don’t care what it looks like as long as it works as it’s supposed to. Any thoughts here on doing it myself vs paying someone? Any tips/techniques you can refer me to?
Thanks
P.s. the white aluminum over the plywood is to help protect it until I can get it covered
