Where are you located? I see the NY licence plates and the pulling tractor, somewhere in WNY? I grew up about an hour south of Rochester.

Dang! that is Sweet! Very nice shop you have there! I was noticing the pinstriping on your tool locker. Would love to see a better shot of it. So what exactly do you do there?

Here you go

Hell of a setup you have there. I was wanting to do the same with one large home/garage/shop structure but the steel erection cost was too high. Ended up doing a separate shop that I could erect myself.

You are a lucky man.

If you're going to spend any time there you might as well make it like you want it.

Looks good in Elroy's eye

Is your shop 12' or 14'tall ? And what are the benefits of adding the OSB onto the outside of the building? I ask b/c I'm planning a pole building with metal sides and roof and I'm debating if I should just wrap the entire thing with OSB. Obviously stronger that's for sure. Any other advantages? Thanks....and a great looking place you have there.

The main shop is 14 foot high, I used osb everywhere inside and out even under the tin and dry wall inside it seals it up better and bug don't get in under the tin and out of the insulation inside and makes for hanging things so much easier. Were I live I'm on top of a big hill so the wind really hits us hard so the more I seal it up the better.

Beautiful place!!!!

OK, so you were talking about the lack of insulation in the place but it looked like at least part of it had fiberglass insulation as you pulled the exterior skin off. Or was that new insulation that you had put in? Did you use fiberglass throughout the rest of the building or did you go with something else? Good idea of using OSB inside and out. Pricey but effective!! I'm sure it made it much more solid.

How big is the shop area and how big is the house portion?

Keep posting pics. This is a great place!
