I found this in a old washer or dryer years ago. What the heck is it? 13/16 on both sides. Thanks.

I would describe that as a double ended spring loaded socket wrench? It looks like one end has a spring and the other end has a magnet in it? Being 13/16" it makes me think of a spark plug with the magnetic retention or possibly a lug nut wrench with the spring loaded ejection (although 13/16" lug nuts are not very common anymore). If it were to be used like a socket I would expect some sort of holes to be drilled through each end in order to stick something through said holes to give you a handle to turn it with. Not sure how you would get good torque on it as is. Also not sure how it would be used on a washer or dryer.

I am not sure either. But maybe part of the washing machine?

I believe I all ready asked about this part a while ago. I just can't remember if it was here or another club and what the answer was.

That could be a removable drive shaft, put the spring loaded end on first, it will snap back to stay in place. Never seen one on a washer or dryer.

I have similar pieces on several pieces of equipment. Not that big tho.
