There are no new $1500 hot water pressure washers and if there are, I would run the other way
A small 110 volt from Northern will do the job, it will be slow compared to a 220 volt machine.
I hesitate to give brand names as most everyone has cheap models as well as good ones. I would recommend you buy from a local distributor as hot water machines can be maintenance intense when they get some age on them and a local guy you buy it from should have parts and service.
Alkota, All American, Aaladin, Landa, Hotsy all make good equipment but hitting the $2500 mark will be hard from a local guy. I have nothing under $3000 new.
I agree a washing machine is a time saver, just don't know if you'll find one big enough to stuff a large carpet in.
Thanks for the tip on washing seat covers and such, that will come in handy.
