In past years there have sometimes been limited quantities of discounted gift cards included in the seconds sale. Those sell out fast - you might want to check the site when the sale launches, then use those to buy the saw.Thought I would use your Lee Valley link and check up on the 14” Rikon band saw. I’ve been wanting one for awhile. I didn’t have much time to think of it earlier in the year and was waiting for them to go on sale. Well not exactly a sale but when they include the wheel kit in the price. It was something like $1500 not including wheel kit. Now it’s $1800 and no wheel kit.Would have been ahead of the game at the former retail price.
If you guys see it on sale give me a heads up. Thanks
I didnt see any today unfortunately. I was ******* in a meeting right when the sale started though - I was a 1/2 hr late and like 80-90% of the stuff was already sold out! Might have just been bought up asap.JradM
That is a great idea. Thanks

6-pc ball hex Zebra T-Handle set from Wurth for $29.
I really like Wurth's tools. Their screwdrivers seem to be made by Felo, lots of the pliers are Knipex or Felo.
Bonus: Here is a coupon code for 15% off: welcome15 - this was a promotion they offered two years ago for first-time orders, but I just checked and it's still working! Even for me, who has ordered a few times before.
Free shipping on orders over $150 - but I don't think you can combine that with the 15% off (and shipping isn't usually that bad anyway).
I eyeball that kit every year at this time. The Milwaukee M12 5-tool kit is back in stock again probably as a Christmas promotion. For $279 + tax, this is a solid deal, better than the other combo "promotions" as it comes with the 3/8" ratchet and 2 (basic) batteries. If buying separately even with occasional promotions, you'd expect to pay over $400 + tax for everything included in this kit. Act fast as this kit is only available during Christmas season and father's day promotion.

Wow, that’s a serious deal, I see the current price is around $2500 and the matching top is $1800… both of those are “on sale” prices at 10% off!Ive looked at these in person and they're really underwhelming.
It's been a while but I was looking for a box to supplement my 41"x18" international box.
I ended up getting a 54" Carlyle for sub $1000 this past summer from Napa.
Look what I just spied in the new flyer!Indeed! It would be a perfect deal to include the brushed M12 "screw driver" and drop the price to, say $250. It will be exactly what a home owner/weekend worrier/tree shed mechanic would need. In my opinion, the relatively higher torque and the impact function can be counter productive for an amateur who tends to close eyes and press the trigger to the bottom and damage either the screw or the work piece. The little drill is nice and useful even to a pro, though.

Thanks JradM. I picked one of those up today. Hanging out with you guys is eroding my beer allowance. Thank heaven the weather is getting cooler and my thirst has subsided.Bosch 30-ft cross line laser level is on for $59.99 at Lowes.
GLL 30 model - a pretty basic unit, but still - cheap and reliable. It gets better though - Lowes has a $10 coupon for orders over $50 when you sign up for their email newsletter. While that only works once, it takes a mere minute to sign up for a burner gmail email address.

I have the fixed-head versions of those wrenches - they're great! Maybe I need to workout, but I like working with XL wrenches. It's easier and it seems like I can get a better feel for when a fastener is tight. Combining the deep non-ratcheting box end for strength with a ratchet end to make working with an XL wrench a little faster... fantastic.

Not bad. It's been on sale for $599 at Canadian Tire before, so it could go lower. Home Depot used to carry that brand too, but I'm not seeing that saw on their website.Hi guys. Great thread.
do you think this is a good deal?
Thank you for the reply. I’m looking at doing some projects around home pretty quick, and with this saw being somewhat compact and a decent saw i think im gonna pull the trigger tomorrow. Not bad. It's been on sale for $599 at Canadian Tire before, so it could go lower. Home Depot used to carry that brand too, but I'm not seeing that saw on their website.
Interesting saw. Looks like it gets good reviews. Seems like a sort of middle ground between portability and power to me - e.g. You could get a lighter Dewalt or Ridgid 10" saw with a rolling stand for cheaper, but the gear ratio on the wormdrive seems aimed at increasing torque - more like a non-folding shop table saw.
I think it depends on how much you want this saw in particular. Home Depot always has a table saw deal this time of year (usually Dewalt and sometimes also Ridgid), so if you're just after a deal it might be worth waiting to see what's on offer.

Thank you.Mississauga Hardware... company? I assume.
