Makes me never want to eat out again. Not gonna eat at dwasifars house either..lol
This was usually at closing time, before the machine was drained. And before we would have a front of the house vs back of the house snowball style fight with the left over baked potatoes!

Those have to be the longest toes I've ever seen ...

I considered editing them out but I figured nobody would notice them. Sharp eye.

Yes, they are. My second toe (the one next to the big toe) is exactly as long as my pinkie finger. I have to buy long narrow shoes because of them.

On the plus side, I can pick up small dropped items with my toes, so there's that.

Years ago, a friend of ours had a Volare (or Aspen) wagon. It was loaded and in really nice shape. It also had those phones wire wheel covers. He used to put them in the dishwasher for cleaning.

I will show this to Mrs Outlander. Dishwasher is about the only button I can routinely push without even trying. She would encourage me buying a dishwasher for the garage long before allowing a non-dish item in our new dishwasher.

You guys ****, now I need a dishwasher for my garage.

Sounds like fun, my friend had a Deli store, we used to have fights with day old Bagels until we clocked a customer coming through the door really hard in the forehead...at least we did not hit him in the mouth, nose or crotch.

Maybe we just need full kitchens in our garages? Or full garages in our kitchens?

I use the same thing I use on wheels and tires. Even if I'm using wheel acid at the time, I use that and a stiff tire brush. Quick scrub and rinse and they look new. I had one set with over 150k miles on them that still looked new.

I use Tire Bleach White on the mats, works like a champ. Just spray on, scrub with a bush and rinse.

As a side note to cleaning and getting mats black again with a like new look without being slippery.
WeatherTech sells cleaning and renewal kit ( not cheap) but it WORKS !!!!

My mats were 5 years old…….swap to a new car……..used the kit. The kit will clean and renew 5 sets of mats or more.

Great idea, @dwasifar . Now I'm not trying to proposition you, but you must be single or divorced. I can't imagine what would happen to me if SWMBO found out that floor mats were in the dishwasher, but it would not be pretty. 🤕
Concur !

I might get away with it when she is gone, but the worst mats are in her car !

Can't imagine what the dirt and grime does to the pipes in your kitchen, and the dishwasher filters.

I washed my sockets in the dishwasher while the wife was out. She found a 10mm in there when she returned.

I've found that if you throw anything you can't clean in a container with water and one of those dishwasher pods and leave it overnight it usually comes clean beyond expectations.

There was a Dishwasher in the Shop thread a long time ago. I replaced the old Maytag Dishwasher for the Wife. Took it outside and hooked it up. Put a bunch of Greasy Tractor parts in it and ran them through the Was Cycle. Yes! Just like a Hot Tank! Never kept it though because I had nowhere inside to setup and keep it from freezing!

Dishwashers are designed to clean dirty things, and drain pipes are designed to carry dirty water.

Do you only wash clean dishes in yours? :D

Oh I get what you are saying,...but I don't put dirt, rock salt, sand and whatever else is on a car mat into my dishwasher, those things are not on my dishes. My plumber would have a heart attack if I did something like that.

Well, I do rinse them before putting them in to knock the big stuff off, just like you would do with dishes. Salt specifically I don't see as a problem; there is salt in food, and salt in water softeners, and PVC drain pipe is not affected.

Cleaning floor mats? I dump the dirt off them, stick back in. Wham bam, thank you ma'am.

Rest of car is cleaned with a leaf blower.

Plus one on the leaf blower, I mentioned this to my wife, she gave me that look like, WTF, nough said.
Between living on a dirt road and having a dog, it's a futile effort to keep anything actually clean. It's more like a level of less dirty.

Though about 2 weeks ago pup decided to go slogging in the ocean mud (no sand around home) while it was pouring rain. I was out processing firewood and didn't pay much attention to him, he goes off, had fun and comes back after a bit so I don't worry too much.

He ended up getting a ~10 mile ride home on the back of the flatbed, dripping wet soaked in mud pup wasn't going in the cab of my truck! Felt bad, but it would have been hours of cleaning that mess!
