Because of the sheer size of them, I don't see them being practical in most cases. I see them being useful in the plumbing/HVAC trades or something like that where you have the room to fit that big bulky head, but thats it. I wouldn't buy them. I don't think they would see much use because of the shear size of them, but in all fairness I've wasted alot more money on worse than that, if you buy them you will always find something to use them on.

Sorry, not impressed. The area with hinged joint is simply too big for most applications I work on. I'm sure they'll work as advertised but, you'll quite a bit of space to use them.

Ehh... I had a set of the Imperial ones branded thru Wright, IMO they where more trouble than they where worth. Its why I prefer the line wrenches that are single sized with a open end for speed, then again I don't get paid by the job so it's not a big deal. Report back..

That video is showing the X Force version, same brand of the ones I linked above, for much cheaper. If you do buy them, go with the X force over the Carlyle brand. Also, did you notice how "out in the open" that flare nut was in the video? I can see myself using a long, flat head screwdriver and a myriad of other tools trying to get that jaw open in tight places. Most of the flare fittings I work on are tight against the frame, another line, or something..

I ordered Carlyle in metric 8-15mm. Ordered 5/16 to 3/4 in sae X force. Plus ordered a Armstrong 18mm ratcheting fkex from cripe. I just think they are neat. Thanks for the X force tip.
