im sure someone here will know what im talking about.
i think i have seen them before,
a caster wheel that is attached to a leg of anything. your push you foot down on a lever and it rachets the wheel to the ground raising the cart or desk up. push again and the wheel comes back up, cart or table drops back to the ground on its legs.
what are these called?
would be possible reasonably to use regular caster wheels with a homemade mechanism that does this?
the reason i ask. i found some 8" fancy industrail casters some swivel and lock in the dumpster.
i have a table saw outfeed table with perfect height with table saw. i would like to attach them some how to the legs but keep heigth.
im sorry i dont make much sense
not sure what words to use to search. would be fun to rig up a homemade swivel wheel thing or soemthing to move heavy stuff without cutting legs.
