Snap-on creeper had the original 3" casters for probably 20 years and the poly had chipped off of the plastic center. Purchesed 24 casters $12 a piece on sale from NT for various projects. Had them in OEM bags in toolbox for a year or so(life got in the way)
Went to use them and the poly was literally falling off in the bag???
Returned them thinking it was just cheap NT stuff.
Got some good ones from Grainger and installed.
Fast
-forward 2 1/2 years later and the new casters had deteriorated.
Creeper doesn't get dropped much, but on occasion my 10 year old is "helping"
Also it probably hasn't been used 10-15 times total since the Grainger ones got installed.
SE Texas where summers are hot and humid, but it seems like it should last longer.
Any one else having these issues?
Not rolling thru oil or coolant or anything
Just stumped
