guys, are CCTV siamese cable used anymore for newer HD CCTV cameras? Have a roll but not sure what to do, seems demand is low.
my cable is RG59 and low voltage 18AWG + - cable fused together. This used to transmit analog video around 320-400 lines and then you got the DC voltage to power the camera.
I was thinking they still got these Hi def cameras these days that modulate high res data digitally over RG59, so people who already have existing cameras don't have to run completely new cable to install the hi def cameras and such cable I mentioned should be somewhat useful?
