I’ve got a 40x40 area planning to install a couple of these ceiling mount heaters in. It’s a red iron building 12’ on eaves. I’ve got unistrut and all thread to hang it.
I’d rather not climb a step stool or ladder to turn it on or off. I’m in South Alabama near the Florida line. This won’t be something I run a lot but will have if I need it. I have a separate 20x20 area heated and cooled by mini split. The 40x40 area is the woodworking and auto repair side of the shop.
Would it be okay to just put a 30 amp toggle switch below it? Or what other alternative is there? I don’t know how to install a separate thermostat at shoulder height or if that’s even possible.
Best options?
