Hi All,
Planning a redo to my garage in a BMW Motorsport theme this coming spring and I have a question for all the guys out there who have tiled their garage floors.
I am wondering what you used at the edge as a transition piece. As it stands now, my interlocking paver driveway sits about an inch below the level of the slab, so my question is do I tile to the edge of the slab and stop worrying about the extra height? Do I use bull nosed tile or some sort of edging material?
Also, I'd love to hear thoughts on whether I should tile to the garage door and stop there or tile out to the slab edge where it will be exposed to weather (including snow and ice as I am in an area with real winters.
Thanks in advance!
Ray
I have added a "current state" photo... as good as I can get right now as it's winter and my garage is more full than usual.
