Built a Shelf/Pegboard unit to store some new tools I ordered and to hold my personal safety equipment.

The tools should be here by the end of the week. I ordered a Snap-On F80 ratchet and some Wera screwdrivers.

Nice garage! I'm digging how orderly it is, very good use of space for a 2-car. And a super clean Honda too.

I grew up in Pampa, and have been up to Goose lake a couple times...what an awesome place to ride. I'm in Houston now and really wish I lived closer to the Enchanted Circle, lots of great areas up there to get away to.

I just purchased it in September of 2013 I am the third owner. It was originally purchased in 1984 in Roswell New Mexico and apparently the original owner never rode it more than 500 miles. The second owner was a friend of the original owner and he basically did some regular maintenance and rode it about 1000 miles.

It is all original and only has 2500 miles on it. I am still impressed that it is now 31 years old and has original paint that looks great for being a dirt bike.

What I really like about the bike is the engineering involved. It has an oil tank that is the frame, it has a mono pro link shock, 4 valve engine, 2 headers, 2 carburetors one high speed and one low speed, 2 compression releases, and stock air bleed screws on the forks.

Every time I take it for a ride it makes me feel like I am doing the Baja 1000 which has always been a dream of mine.

I finally got my tools and here are my first impressions.

Snap on F80 is not comparable to what I have been using. The F80 is exactly what I expected based on the price and the name. Also it says USA which I am very happy with since I like to support USA made products.

The Wera screwdrivers are also what I expected based on the price and the name. They should provide many many years of use.

Thanks, they do look pretty cool and that is half the reason why I bought them (don't tell my wife that). I will probably end up using my craftsman screwdrivers when my hands are greasy.

The Toyota sign got old to look at but I still have it in the attic. I made it out of some leftover plywood so it wasn't perfect. Plus you gotta have a shop clock.

Here is a picture of my shed. it is a 4'x8' I store my lawn equipment in it and some other bulk tools. I built it so you would not be able to see it from the front of the house/road. Also I can still fit my mower down the side of it. The roof is just some simple sheet metal and since it never rains here in Amarillo I wasn't worried about leakage or water drainage.

I wish I could build a toolbox/workbench with a couple harbor freight 44'' tool boxes but I have a problem with my attic ladder. I still want to build one but I would only be able to put one since the max length I can put one and still use my ladder is about 72''.

My wife and I like to go to the lake and my dad lets me borrow his boat. But since I got my Tacoma and all the lakes in the area are drying up we decided to take the plunge and buy a jet ski so we could pull it further than we could the boat.

It is a 2001 Yamaha Waverunner XL750. It runs pretty good and I put five gallons in it and it lasted about 4 hours of moderate riding. Also drove 220 miles in my truck and used less than 3/4 of a tank which is about 12 gallons. So in all I am pretty happy with it in regards to economics and it runs great. We took it to Ute Lake in NM. The water was cold but I had fun fishing off the back.

The Black shelves are just a shelving unit from Lowes that I put horizontal instead of vertical. I didn't like the grey so I painted them black. For the top I just purchased a stock piece of pre-finished wood also from Lowes.

I also did some work on the back porch. Getting it ready for summer.

I built the retaining wall a couple months ago to block the elements and give my dog some shade in the evening. The retaining wall also blocks the view of my patio furniture and dog house.

I also added a roll down sunshade. I got it on sale for 15 dollars originally 98 dollars.

Saturday our local Motorsport dealer is hosting a Motorcycle Show and anyone can enter. I am pretty excited about it.

My motorcycle sprung a leak where some oil hoses connect to the crankcase. I ordered the parts and they will arrive tomorrow.

Hopefully I can get my bike in good show shape by Saturday. I will post some pics of the show next week sometime.

I didn't have time to go to the motorcycle show. We had a garage sale at my parents house instead so now I got some tool money. I think I have my eye on some power tools or rebuilding my workbench. My Inlaws have some leftover bamboo engineered flooring that I can have so I think that will make a nice workbench top. We will see what I can come up with in the next few weeks.

Thanks. I live in Hillside Terrace off of Soncy. Its cool to see a local on here. I ride down to canyon at least once a week and go to the Palace Coffee Shop. I don't mind riding in Canyon because the traffic isn't too bad. I have a cousin that works at UPS, Brian Adams.

I know Brian, he is a really cool guy. Drives the 18-wheelers now, so I don't get to see him often. I've delivered Hillside Terrace quite often, and boy is it growing like crazy!
