Alright,
I'm doing something a bit crazy. I got the green light from my wife to turn my Chas Parker 436 into a coffee table. This is my very rough outline of what I have in mind.
I also plan on mounting the vise on a 20" diameter .5" thick steel plate.. don't want any tip overs.
The table will be 46"x33" and the top will be roughly 18" from the ground.
It will be pretty heavy, but I think it should definitely be a statement piece!
I figured, after restoring, couldn't really practically use it for blacksmithing.. but I want to keep looking at it
What do you guys think?
