Do these things have any sort of third party safety marks on them?
The eBay listing states "ISO9002 CE, CCC" ISO 9002 was superseded way back so I don't know if that holds water anymore. CE is the European compliance standards and CCC is, as I understand it, Chinese compliance standard. FWIWDo these things have any sort of third party safety marks on them?
Thermal Dynamics IS Chinese and Malaysian and Japanese and....
Even the new Victor torches are China and no. The price didn't go down.
Thermal Dynamics makes the plasmas in their own plant in Mexico. Not long ago they were made in the US in the same city as Hypertherm.
Got mine today, that was FAST! I'll pick up a plug this weekend and fire that bad boy up for y'all!
Edited: The one I ordered did not show a digital readout but like Hybridss, it came with one so these must be the new models. If you order one, pick up a 220v plug end and have it ready, the machine comes with a cord but no end.
I'm interested in the Cut50F with pilot arc, just like the OP posted a link to.

Ebay seller just responded saying that they only make $15 on these as it is and that the price could not be reduced.

the long term price trend on Chinese products is down, not up.
don't be a drama queen!
My mistake . I was looking at a link to an auction that included consumables.
Good thing You came along when You did . Had You not corrected / insulted Me , the entire GJ board and possibly the internet might have suffered a terrible fate .
yeah, good luck with that after 30 days!If it fails, you can just buy a new one I guess since warranty could be interesting. If it was within the year, I think ebay should help back the buyer.
