Cut the end off our industrial hoist years ago and welded a plate set onto it with multiple angle holes. A box tube then goes in it so you can change your pitch or extension with the hole drill set
Today I pinned our engine stand head into the end to front lift a duramax engine out of a van ambulance. Worked ok other than no tilt function and it angles wrong way as you go up. But by lifting rear of hoist with overhead crane you can counteract the pitch
