Here they are. I pulled them apart and changed them so I have a regulator/filter & dryer and filter & lubricator. So one of these days I can have two separate lines, one clean & dry, one oiled. For right now I just have no oil in the oiler. haha

...I modified the regulator and the placement of the lubricator, etc so I'll have one clean dry air line on the j-hook, and one lubed line on the hose reel for my air tools.

The drop in between the two sets of blue equipment is dry and the hose reel to the right is lubricated? Or have I gotten that wrong? Are those Campbell Hausfield regulators/lubricators from Sears? Mind if I ask the cost? I'd love to do something similar in my garage.

U-Pol "Raptor" liner. I've read a lot of really good reviews about it.

I tried some aerosol undercoating on my Camaro before and didnt care for it. I'm assuming a catalyzed system will be much more durable, and after laying the paint on my Beretta last year this should be cake!

I hope you have better luck with that regulator than I did. I bought one and the damn thing leaks a little bit of air around the regulator knob. Not enough to go through the trouble of taking it all apart and taking it back to HD, but enough to be annoying if I pay attention to it...

Well so far at least no leaks and it works fine.

Welded in the new cab corner and got the whole underbody Raptor lined. Now we'll see how well it holds up.

Now that I'm done with the truck I put the Camaro away for the winter. Slid it 1" from the far wall so there's plenty of room to tear down the Beretta. Access to the compressor isn't bad either, and the welder fits there out of the way when not in use.

Once I get back from my vacation the next project is organization.

Looks like you gained a lot of room by putting the Camaro on the dollies and tucking it up close to the wall. I think I'll look into buying a set for myself!

I've been busy and forgot to post any updated pics!

Got the bench cleaned up and a lot of tool organizing done. Got lots of tools for Christmas too which was sweet. Also had a decent amount of room to work on my kitchen remodel when I moved the Beretta close to the Camaro. Added a new rolling welding table from work that used to be a one-off beveler in the 70s. haha And I put up some posters and storage bins for nuts & bolts. Next project will be cleaning out the attached wall and installing a 30,000btu vented wall heater.

Well, here we are another month later and still nothing getting done out there lately! Been looking in to a radiant tube heater, but at this point that won't be until next fall at least.

On the bright side my basement is looking pretty good! I put up drywall and have it mostly finished now. It's a lot warmer in the house than the garage right now. haha

good job on the garage and cars, i used to own a 95 cayenne red z26, car was okay, brakes sucked, 218k miles on it got rear ended and sold it, bought a mazda6s what a difference, i would have bought it a long time ago.

Got the banner at a drag strip where I broke the Camaro's rear end at the starting line. Didn't even know what the brand was for! haha

In this pic you can see the rear of the car is sky high...that's because the body is sitting on the pinion yoke. The axle tube welds broke and the center section twisted about 45* and snapped the driveshaft off.

Here's a pic. Been looking for a good black granite sink, too, but I keep hearing terrible reviews about their durability. I have put in a new black stove to help update the kitchen.

My first car was a Beretta when i was 16 and I fell in love. They're fun in stock form, but it's when you modify them that you can really get the adrenaline going.

How do you like that Craftsman bench top? I've been looking for something like that, and the price seems very reasonable to me. $127 Currently.

I was really looking for something like that, but couldn't, so I've been looking at plate steel.

Thanks for the pic of the sink. Looks really nice. Speaking of the butcher block top from sears, I was just there last night and they had the whole work bench for something like 189. Thought that was a steal since the top is already 130 ish.

I love the Craftsman butcher block. Just recently I had to clean up dried soda and it wiped right off with a paper towel...nothing else needed! Back when I looked at the pre-fab workbench from Craftsman, the top wasn't as thick as buying just the butcher block.

Tiffany scored a bunch of free cabinets yesterday from an acquaintance, so I'm thinking about putting some up in the garage and some in the basement laundry room. I was going to enclose the underside of my workbench, but I might just tear it apart and put the base cabinets there (with some gray & black paint of course) and wall cabinets along the far wall where the Camaro is parked, just low enough so I can still do my overhead shelving there too. I have to take some measurements and do some planning, but it's nice to have free stuff to start with! haha

With the nice warm weekend I decided to tear into the car finally. I suspected oil on the clutch or something as the cause to it slipping, but it's dry. I'm guessing the 310lbft torque rating on SPEC's stage 2 is just inaccurate! There's no way this 3.4L should have smoked it...I'm making 250lbft at best probably. I'm going to give them a call and see what's up.

It was a beautiful thing doing this project in MY garage with MY tools where I put them though! The organization saved a lot of time compared to working in my dad's garage where it's hard to find anything.

Have you looked at Reginox sinks?I have one of their black granite composite units and after 18 months worth of use/abuse am very pleased with it. More to the point, the wife is still happy with it so I guess that's what counts

I checked out those sinks and couldn't find a standard 33x22 to fit the hole I already cut in my new counter tops. They do look nice though.

Made some good progress yesterday so it should be running soon! I decided it was worth the time to detail it this time around though.

Well, my headers took forever to come back from coating, but the Beretta has been back together for a few weeks now...even got 31.6mpg with it on my last road trip! I also got my new wheels on the Camaro and my vibration issue fixed. And a water spigot for the hose installed by front door. I'd like to make a water hose reel out of a hub and a wheel, so when I make any progress I'll post pics.

Yes, it was machined...and actually the clutch tech from SPEC said the pattern on the flywheel is very common with a Kevlar clutch, even one that is in good working condition.

Some GM FWD-specific research turned up the likely culprit: the hydraulic line for the slave. Apparently the 90-91 style went too far with its inline restriction. It was meant to smooth out clutch engagement and prevent axle failure, but it creates excess slippage due to the slower engagement. Couple that with about 100hp more than the car was originally engineered with and a day beating the piss out of it at the strip and a fried clutch is the result. So I replace the stock clutch hydraulic line with a AN-3 brake hose and the necessary adapters. I can feel the difference in the engagement & shifts...it's a little more harsh, but it should hold up.

cool i never heard of that problem before but it makes sense i guess and alot of slip could probably cause the fly wheel to warp a a little and give you high and low spots but it sounds like you got it worked out
