Wellll....

The kids each got me one of those "assortments" of things cotter keys, washers, o-rings and the like from HF, plus the freebies. From "all of the kids" a magnetic glove dispenser

I opened up the wife's gift and saw it was wrapped in newspaper from KC, and that can only mean one thing.....HJE! USA Craftsman punches!

MIL grabbed me a set of Craftsman (Chinook OEM) boots from a dying sears in FL along with some hose pinch pliers and the Ace 5pc screwdrivers.

It's been a good Christmas.

From the wifey:
A Stihl MS261 chainsaw, a Milwaukee Fuel 3/8 cordless stubby impact, a roll around shop seat with drawers, a transmission jack, and a ruger MK 22/45.

From my 13yo son: a 1000 watt dual light set to help me see when welding.

My daughter got me a new carhart jacket.
My oldest son got me a day of helping him work on his truck lol because all his money goes to running around and fixing his truck constantly.

My father in law got me a new 120xp 3/8” flex head ratchet.

My wife’s younger sister got me a fox t-shirt.
My wife’s older sister got me an AC Delco cordless impact ratchet. Her husband also offered to take me to the casino last night and give me cash to blow but I declined. my other brother in law won $2800 so I shoulda went lol.

My dad gave my wife and I a gift basket with various items and some cash.

You did well, but casino would have been a good idea.

So far. More to come, later.
My wife's friend gave ma a large metal box of Turtles. Thanks, I guess. I am a diabetic. I will make the Turtles last until March. I appreciate the nice metal boxes. They make great toolbox drawer dividers, with lids.

I was lucky enough to get a 1/2" Milwaukee 2663 m18 impact from the home depot deal with the single 5.0 battery (after a hint to SWMBO). Nice upgrade from using a corded hf impact for tires/brakes/tractor work. Can't wait to put the snow tires on now! Merry Christmas all!

A 1/2" high torque to go along with my mid torque, 6" chain vice for the service truck bumper and one of those 135' Bosch Blaze laser distos that can do real time measurements. I'm excited to try and integrate the laser into my fabrication work, it may make some stuff much easier.

Got a keypad lock for my shop door along with an “experienced” pair of DeWitt Vise Grips from my parents. Wife got me a customized tool bag and a magnetic Bluetooth speaker for the shop. She also got me some Yeti mugs and cups. In-laws and Son both got me Menard’s gift cards. Also got a pocket “multi tool “ in my stocking.
Also ordered myself a pair insulated garage doors for my shop.

Merry Christmas to everyone!!

I have five kids, 17 to 32, and it's inevitable that at least one of them puts a gimmicky tool in my stocking as a gag gift. This year, it was this 6-in-1. It's a (1) pen, (2) stylus, (3) Phillips bit driver, (4) Slot bit driver, (5) imperial rule, (6) metric rule, and (7) level. So I guess they don't count the pen!

I keep waiting for there to be an end in sight, but every year someone comes up with something new! :)

I got one of those for my birthday from my gadget daughter. I thought it was pretty cool but have only used it as a pen.

Every couple of years I use Christmas to go heavy into tools and the wife spoils me. One year it was all wrenches, this year I upgraded my power tools with a bunch of M12 goodies from Milwaukee.

Very impressed so far! Can’t wait to start using them all.

I buy tools for myself all the time but my wife still found some "sweet" tools to put in my stocking!72d67eb4d710570f8156246b345fa9c4.jpgMy GJSS Imstuner got me a really cool rechargeable flashlight and WIHA Ultra Driver!c28d66ffb3fe6eafabb4907a0485e882.jpg

The "Milk Chocolate Flavored" part on the Palmer packaging always makes me chuckle. They should put "Made with real milk chocolate near by" on there so long as they set an actual milk chocolate bar next to the production line.

No tree this year as we just moved here in the new house this month and no presents because the local HF didn't have the orange 5 drawer cart I wanted.

Spent a lot of money on new furniture and this new computer I'm posting this with if that counts as a tool.

However, I did get a new motorcycle for my collection...motorcycle toy that is. Its an original vintage 1950's Auburn Rubber Harley-Davidson in the hard to find 'military green' color.

Now if I can just find a place to put it...

Merry Christmas All!!

Best bags made by far!

Very good Wisconsin made boots! It surprises me they aren't more popular. Near zero break in, never hear of guys getting blisters ever. Storm welt, easily resoled. They just blow Redwings out of the water, for the same money. I've never worn more comfortable boots, and I never bought cheap boots.. My ol lady even wears thorogood wedge steel toes...

Im wearing 8" max wedge plain toes now.

I'm going to get a pair of the 1957 reissue 8" mock toe wedges next time I stop in our local boot shop. They are smokin boots. I recommend them to anyone who must wear boots all day.

Hers and his, recent obernaufs treated for winter, so they look better than usual.20181226_041958.jpeg

This is what I got. Found the two sets on a super clearance price a couple months ago locally.. Not the best wrenches, but for what I paid for all 21 wrenches, they will do just fine.

Got them essentially for a home beater set, so I can take the set from my cart here, and move it back to my 44" HF roller at the "second garage"

Essentially replacing the big $60 CM industrial long metric set I sold on a whim... like an idiot. I shoulda bought 3 of those $60 sets back then.. I really liked those wrenches a lot. I wish I could kick my own ***.

Yes, I have the Auburn Rubber Harleys in red and blue with the yellow wheels. I have the red and blue with white wheels too. The green Auburn Rubber Harleys are hard to find as well as the black Auburn Harleys and the white Auburn Harleys.

I had the black Harley once some years ago, but sold it to a friend of friend that needed the black one to complete his collection.

I also have Auburn Rubber Harley trikes and a bunch of the Auburn Rubber Triumph motorcycles in different colors and different wheel color variants.

I don't have a picture of it currently but the wife bought be a KaBar BK&T BK3. It's considered a Tac Tool and I brought it to work, my intended want. It's like a heavy duty knife that can be used for cutting, prying or whatever the need may be.

EDIT: I went down to the truck and snapped a few pictures. They're not the best but you get the idea.

Im a big Becker fan, I keep a BK3 in my car too. Becker’s are just as addictive as tools.
