A gallon of future diarrhea beats a NES when you were a kid?

Silly question, but what is the difference between the upside down silver ones and the black cobras and why would you use one vs the other?
Thanks,
Mark
I use one for these exact purposes. Works like a dream. Mine runs like 4 degrees cold. No big deal. Its not an accurate temp I need, just a relative temp. The little bit that I have used it, I think it will be helpful. I've found a few spots near doors that need my attention.
I realize there is some range in the accuracy (+/- 4 to 7 degrees) depending on the temperature range you are at.
I look at it this way - if there is a significant absolute temperature difference as I move across a wall (or anywhere else), that might be worth further investigation. The level of accuracy really isn't a big deal to me.
Those are my thoughts at this point...hopefully they are helpful to you in some way.
