Chrom Vandium Metric Socket Set. Made in Germany

Hi Everyone: I came across this metric socket set. I’m guessing from the 50’s 60’s era. All it says is: Chrom Vandium made in Germany. Didn’t pay too much but they look to be a mid quality type of set. I liked that it had the female style ratchet and then you put in the short male ****** to use the female sockets. I have attached some pictures…
The gentleman I purchased them from said that they came from a farm implement shop… maybe came as a tool set for a tractor. I’m not sure. Any input is always appreciated. Harry

It could be made after 1990, as it doesn't say 'West Germany' or 'East Germany' on the tools. They look vaguely familiar, I have seen Elora sockets same as that but I don't recognise that shape of ratchet handle. I would agree they are likely mid range quality stuff.
What's on the other side of the ratchet handle, and the DOE wrench, does it say anything there?

Thanks for you input. Yes, what you said makes sense as it doesn’t say east or west Germany. So probably newer than I thought. As per the attached picture, there’s no markings on the other side of the wrench or ratchet

The sockets, ratchet, and drive tools are not ringing any bells for me.

The ratchet handle looks the same design as ones made by Elora and currently sold here by Draper tools. Good quality, mid price range tools,

Good Catch Alfazer. It does say W Germany on the T Bar. I believe Farmer J and Four. Cycle are correct and that this set was made by Elora. Thanks for everyone’s assistance.

Took me a while to find them, but here is a photo of my other Elora set and a couple more examples of their "100 series" open-ends.
The DBEs are really nice - not all polished like Stahwille or Wurth, but I'm sure they'll accomplish the task at hand.
You've definitely got keepers there.

The expression of the term "CHROM VANADIUM" is somewhat ubiquitous among German tools. I do not believe you will be able to use "CHROM VANADIUM" as an indicator of who the manufacturer might have been. (see discussion on "ChromIUM Vanadium")

Also some manufacturers made cheap, no-name versions for the mass market in department and hardware stores.
(e.g. HAZET its ST "STandard" versions - with less material and not polished in simple boxes sometimes in different colors - but this one is not one of the cheap HAZET versions)

The W(est)-GERMANY indicate that is in between 1973 (judgment about the use of the general "Made in Germany" for East and West by the Federal Court of Justice, West) to 1990 (reunion of West and East Germany)...

Thanks for your input. I wonder why the Sliding t-bar is the only piece that is marked w-germany….maybe the set was put together in 1990 and they put it together with some w-germany t-bars. Because it had the female socket ratchet it made me think the set was older. It seems like a sturdy set though.

In the end, it was a set that no one was proud to put a trademark on.

Beside the theory of time edge to 1990 and reunion of West and East Germany, a lot of cheap consumer products were build in East Germany (Russian side, with "Made in Germany" since 1973) in this time for West Europe - but nobody like to see East German brands as "VEB Schmalkalden" (publicly-owned business for tools) on it. May this also have been made cheaply in the East Germany for West mail order and department stores - with only one part being cheaper from West Germany. But this was the time before internet and digital photos - difficult to search and find more about this unknown set, that hardly anyone has in their collection.
