Thanks Jayman! Well…de-rusted with vinegar (pros and cons), filed and sanded outside portions but left the recessed area pitted for a nice textured look…then blued it with Birchwood-Casey Perma Blue.That looks awesome, I have a heap of C-clamps that need this treatment can you describe your method?
Thanks Mike…Don’t contract out just since I’m a rookie, that was my first resto and mistakes were made, but I’ll keep that in mind.Wow. That does look good. Do you contract out? lol.
