Single poles are around $4-$5.00,2 poles are $8-$9.00 for home line anyway. What size of breakers are you buying ? A simple single pole 15 or 20 amp breaker should be about $10. I don't think that is out of line, what are you expecting on paying ?

thanks guys I was not specific I was looking for 20 amp gfi breakers I got lucky and located 4 at lowes on close out for 55% off. the normal style breakers are cheap and the way the garage is ll wired up with dual boxes it was a cheaper option to do gfi breakers instead of the gfi plugs
That's an understatement!GFCI breakers are more expensive
With some simple design planning could have bought 4 gfci outlets for 1 breaker.
With some simple design planning could have bought 4 gfci outlets for 1 breaker. 28 of them for 7 and not had to consider replacement cost. I got 250, maybe 300 breakers, not 1 gfci. Have never used one on a new install I designed. Had to replace 1 recently for a neighbor with a modular built in 70's where that was a shortcut for spec designed wire at the time.
At that cost, I would have gone with GFCI outlets also !
