Hey guys! Did a search, but didn't see as much as I expected. Maybe you guys can help me out.
we're planning a semi-substantial addition on to our existing garage, but have realized that the addition of a 2-bay carport would be extremely helpful for some additional parking coverage. However, when I said the word "carport" to my wife there was the look of "no way in hell" on her face. But then I explained that the solution would be a more permanent solution than just a pre-fab metal carport, or something similar.
I would like to build a carport that's a little more permanent. Timber frame or something like framed out with some nice mill work. Something with some good architectural value and that could be worked in with the style of our 30's brick home and surrounding landscape plan.
Post 'em up! Anything you guys have built or can share I would like to see.
Thanks!
