Anybody got any tips on cleaning the floor before coating?
I'be blown it out with backpack blower, shop vacced but still I find fine dust .
A number of people said to use denatured alcohol. What is the best way to do this? Rags, sponge, some sort of pad???
I tried rags but seems like alot was missed.
Last thing- if I run my hand across the floor should I see dust on my fingers or is that still too dirty?

Use a mild detergent in a bucket, broom the mix onto the floor with a fine bristle broom head gently agitating and rinse away thoroughly. Do small areas which may be difficult in a garage. Alternatively a wet vac after the detergent and then rinse and wet vac again. You should have absolutely no powder.

I'm looking at recoating my garage floor too... My paint supplier suggested I wash my floor with a detergent as Edger said, 9rinse, vacuum) then use a cleaner / etcher solution.
The etcher will promote adhesion for the new paint.
