I was chatting to Andy earlier today and yesterday.

Yesterday he had a tracked digger/backhoe on site, river views etc…… and at $150.00/hour it cannot sit still.

So he was digging a rather large basement and garage complex for a new house build.

He has been clearing a ton of brush, and a loads of other work.

So the man is certainly burning both candles at both ends, which means he has little time left to eat and sleep.

That is our Andy.


I will pass the boards regards on to him.

Thanks for the info Grizz, I talked to Andy a couple of weeks ago as well. He doesn't let grass grow under his feet for sure. He also showed an induction heater for getting steel to red hot in just a few seconds.

Clever Clever guy, our Andy.

He forwarded those clips of the induction heater turning those thick chunks of steel,red hot so fast.

I didn’t realize he was going to be doing the digging. Andy definitely stays busy. Looking at the view, I don’t think it’s near his shop unless it’s on the far East side. Actually this looks like the property he has SW of his place. We rode the show truck over there.

Actually I'm building for a lady friend (she happens to have a yellow FJ Cruiser). I'm staying put where I'm at. I can't seem to get my shop cleaned up.

By the way, I see a garage size tag. How does one go about admitting that?

Just had a video call with Andy on the building site.

It is an impressive place he is building.

He is clearly working his **** off.
