Just wanted to say to the Andy fan club, the man is well.

He will be back in time.

Working harder than a hard thing, building a house, buying more cars (36 Plymouth) and using technology. (See video)

Dang, I have missed a whole bunch of Andy's shenanigans! Love the car and the induction forge... Andy, is a trendsetter! I built an induction forge for my son and I to do blacksmith projects. With different shape coils there is not much you cant heat up now so I hardly break out the torch now.

I am always amazed at what people get up to.

Andy is is beyond 70 and successfully retired., but I guess some people need to keep busy.

I asked him for a pic that included him for all the fans.

Mate Andy in Oklahoma is building a house fir a friend.

Well beyond 70, he has always got a ton of stuff going on.

Sent me an update yesterday.

This overlooks a river too.

Bad, bad Grizz! Of couse we will see how Andy is slowly turning grey! And if we get a progress report at the same time I think there will be some happy members here.

Well, what can I say…… travelled about 800 miles by road to get here.

So staying a few days with Andy to mainly get in his way, eat his Oreos and play with the dogs.

Hershey has a new stray buddy, Spot who,can snap a fly in half, and catchma treat from 5 yards if you throw it at her.
Remember, andy is an incredible host, so the dogs move in here by themselves.


Anyway…………


Satnav took me here yesterday at 3.00pm






That really should be the end of the story.


But it is only the beginning.


I will just post a few pics that I took, the rest is up to your imaginations.

Between Andy and good friend Carol, they have pretty much single handedly built this 5 floor house, with incredible 360’ views from the cupola, but also every floor.

The odd contractor came on site to deliver things like foundation concrete, foam insulation etc……

As for the rest…… pure bull headed determination and a lot of grit and sweat.











Snakes abound in this area.

I saw this one at the house Carol lives in near the building site.

Note the “mask” on it’s forehead.

Not pleasant at all.






Also, last night we went out for dinner…….

Headed home, we stopped for gas as my truck was down to half a tank and next stop,is Thursday in Fayettevill, Arkansas.

Message from Andy today.

It's a sad morning. Hershey just died. She had been listless for a week and staying at the neighbors.

I found her this morning mostly out of her dog house and having occasional convulsions.

Got a pillow under her head, wet her tongue, and petted her.

She had come home to die.

She ran free her entire life but had a home for when she was cold or hungry.
