Hi Everyone! I have been gone for some time but I just wanted to share some pics of a double broadcast quartz floor I just completed. This is a full house remodel and the walls aren't even painted yet. There will be baseboard and door jambs with tile leading to these rooms keep in mind. Sorry I didn't take a lot of great pics.

There are 3 rooms in the basement that were coated. A mechanical room with a concrete floor, and 2 storage rooms with 3-4" gypcrete floors due to in floor heating. Ground everything down including the gypcrete, routed all cracks, vac'd; Filled saw cuts, missing gypcrete chunks, and cracks with epoxy joint filler then primed with APF vapor solve primer.

Unfortunately we had a nasty expansion joint that we couldn't coat, so we cut around it and prettied it up a bit at the end.

Next day came in and scuff sanded the floor, vac'd, solvent wiped then laid down APF vapor solve 100 @ 20 mils and broadcast 275 LB of quartz.

Nice job.
I’m gonna play devils advocate here. Have you done testing for radon?

Congrats! Quartz floors are great, but often too pricey for most budgets. We love them and sell lots to our commercial customers.

I used APF 100 first, and then APF 450 but my color was only slate, so it wasn't terribly difficult. This looks excellent. I think the APF450 product is a good one.

I agree their 450 is decent, and easy to work with. Have used it for years with no issues. That's about the only product we use from APF anymore.

I had a bad experience with their cove resin after applying it to about 600 linear feet, don't use them much anymore after that.
