hello, new on the board. The few threads I've gone through so far have been extremely useful. Just don't know how good this forum will be on the wallet(especially that tool box thread).
Anyways, my question is regarding the drain valve on my air compressor. I did the ball valve conversion and it is much more useful than having to reach under all the time but my issue is with the noise it produces. I have a 60 gallon tank and it's about 20 feet away from my neighbor's bedroom. He says he barely here's the tank when it's running but it's when the air is released that it gets pretty loud. So, is there any way to reduce the noise? Right now the tip is pointing straight out and not angled towards the floor like some have it. This would also help the few people who uses my compressor but are not used to it (scared a few people already).
Thanks
