I bought the compressor with no motor to hopefully have something that will deliver the cfm of my dreams! But I now have an issue, I cant find any numbers on the compressor to identify it. I see the numbers 9050 or 9030 on the right most cylinder(sleeve) base. I have seen compressors that are really similar like this one:
http://equiptool.com/i-4600058-bend...5hp-80-gal-vertical-tank-for-export-50hz.html

and this one:
http://allaircompressorparts.com/rf20s2hp1stage3cylinderreplacesfushengta-65orcurtises-20pump.aspx

I would like to try and find the manufacturer of the pump so i can order replacement parts and see what size motor and what speed i need to run it.

thanks!

the pictures are of what i have currently.

Not a clue actually and I have seen a lot of compressors. It reminds me of the cheap cast iron compressors that you get at places like Princess Auto (Canadian HF equivalent). It looks like a single stage (no manifold on it so hard to tell from the photos) so you aren't going to get much pressure out of it. Best of luck sorting it out.

If all 3 heads had air filters on them then it's going to be a single-stage 3-cylinder pump.

If the heads are interconnected through a manifold then it's going to be a dual stage.

In the links in the initial post, you can see the BendPak is a dual stage because it has 3 cylinders but only two have air intakes, and the Curtis is a single stage because it has 3 cylinders and all have air intakes.

It seems like I've seen pumps with similar crankcases in photos posted here. The photos provided make it look more like the BendPak than the Curtis.

Yea it has 2 of the hoses, one running from each side cylinder to the center one. It has 2 filters with the center cylinder running to the tank.

Yea i recently seen the BendPak pump and thought that might be it.

I did stop by Harbor freight today and they have a 2 cylinder version that REALLY looks similar to what I have. It has the same "spaces" around the center bold of the flywheel and almost identical crankcase mounting of guage and drain.

Looks like it was made in Italy. In the 80s -90s they imported a lot of them, mostly to places like harbor freight. Good luck finding parts.

^^ Thank you, that may help my search. The guy i bought the whole thing from said that the previous owner had the whole pump rebuilt. Well once i took the heads off im starting to believe him. There are what looks to be fresh cross hatch marks on the inside of the cylinders.

Guess im going to have to replace the rubber gaskets he had on there with some paper type gasket material since i cant seem to find anything close to the gaskets I need. And I guess I will spin it around 8-900 rpm with a 5hp motor. That's what I gather would be the closest to what it would call for.
