Hello - after searching a bit I did not see anything exactly on point with my set up

I am taking over a 30x30 section of an old warehouse

Floor is from the 1970's...concrete

I don't have much other background information on it

The floor has cracks, uneveness and some pitting

My goal is to end up with a level smooth finish that will be enclosed and act as the floor of a new garage build

My thoughts at the moment are: power wash/clean, re-surface with sakrete/quickrete type poduct and once that is done, put some kind of epoxy down

Questions: is there a product that will achieve the resurface and final surface finish all in one? - are there downsides to the approach I outlined? - I have never done this so please treat me as a novice and I welcome all suggestions

Thanks!!

Hi there, I have just finished resurfacing my concrete floors, my floors are approx 10 years old and very poor quality concrete and uneven, my floor space is 47ft x 27ft and it has been my biggest issue as the dust from the concrete was becoming unbearable.

I got a guy who specialises in floors to come and help, so we started by hiring a floor grinding machine and grinding the floor twice, we then filled the cracks in the concrete with a 2 pack filler (bondo) then we sealed the concrete with a coloured primer.

we gave it 2 coats of primer and left it for 48 hours. then we finished the floor with a product called viterfloor 2 pack epoxy paint which gave a really good smooth finish and evened out my floor even though it doesn't level out the floor it does give a excellent finish

I did price a self levelling floor screed with a coloured smooth finish but it was out of my budget.
