OK well this weekend I spent all day Saturday running a concrete saw to gain access to replumb my pool. I have some demo still to do as some concrete was thicker than the saw would cut, so next weekend I get to rent a jack hammer to finish the demo.

My question with these cuts, that are 7" wide in a fully cured pad, do I need to add anything to the mix when I pour the new concrete?

I have not figured out the amount of concrete required but I'm sure its too small for redi-Mix so I will be using sacrete and mixing it myself.

Original pad is on a base of sand, (we live on a sand hill) and no cracks over the 30-40 years of being in place. Only had wire mesh and it was on the bottom of concrete, as they didn't pull it up when it was poured.

Thanks in advance.
